A user can join multiple rooms at once. The administrator can define static system rooms that are always open. Four levels of user rights are available, including ChatOPs users who can kick others out of chats and temporarily ban them. For further security purposes, the administrator can define a list of allowed and forbidden IP addresses.

For general information or advertising campaigns, the administrator can display his own click-able banners. Users can also establish direct connections between one another to talk privately or transfer files.
