V-Text lets you create 3D text images; you control the direction of the light source, the color of the text, the color of the extrusion, the length of extrusion, the size of the text, how smooth the text is and the font of the text.
The program also allows you to animate the text using VRML.
V-Text is very easy to use with a very well thought out help file that explains what each of the functions does.
