This is an image viewing program that lets you browse through the folders on your system looking for images to display. Image files in a directory can be displayed using a number of views, including a thumbnail view that lets you quickly see what your images are without having to open them. When you want to view a particular image, just click on it and CompuPic Pro opens the image viewer. You can also view a number of images in CompuPic Pro by displaying the images in a slideshow or a "maxi-show," which basically tiles the screen with your images.
Once you open an image with CompuPic Pro, there are a number of editing tools available to you. You can rotate, flip, resize, crop and perform other edits to an image. You can add text and drop shadows. For fun, you can add comic book-style talk balloons and thought balloons to an image. You can also edit a number of images at once by using the included batch conversions.
In addition to viewing and editing images, CompuPic Pro also has a few other nice features that make the program stand out. CompuPic Pro allows you to set any image as your wallpaper just by clicking on one icon. It will also allow you to select a number of images to use as a screen saver for your system. CompuPic Pro will even scan a Web site and extract all of the images for you to view.
You can also create a Photodex Picture CD. This is a CD full of your images that you can share with your friends, since it includes a special version of CompuPic that can be run directly from the CD and used to view the images.
