If you could fill a start menu with only useful programs, I think I'd have to put this one near the top of my list. It was designed for editors who don't need all the fluff, but offers enough to keep you hooked.
The biggest feature of this editor has to be its plug-in support for 8BF plug-in files used primarily in Adobe Photoshop. Add to this the basic filters that you see in most image editing suites, and you get an added flavor that lets you produce some really high-quality effects.
Bearing that in mind, I became overly impressed with the ease of use. The main toolbar is across the top, extended features are in the main file list, and you can set up your own plug-in directory.
