This program e-mails your IP address to you whenever it changes, and it can even message you on IRC, or if you're at your PC, you'll get a pop-up notice on your desktop. If for any reason the e-mail or IRC options aren't working, you can access the developer's Web site and retrieve your IP from there using the token that is supplied when you install the program.
GMIP is also useful for people who access the Internet via a LAN or from behind a router and need to find out their external IP address.
