Use this tool to create, edit, update, replace and organize all image formats, including the new alpha-blended images. The included explorer helps you find the icons you're looking for and provides an interface for accessing the rest of the tools. Double clicking on any displayed file takes you directly into the appropriate utility.
This graphics editor manipulates images in all sizes and color formats. A full-featured tool set includes:

Intelligent paint modifiers apply color gradients, dodge and burn existing colors, and anti-alias drawing operations against the graphics below. Five modes allow precise editing of RGB and alpha (transparency) information for Windows XP images.
The studio can import and scale bitmap images. An actual-size viewing area offers a real-time display of the edit session as you work.
There's also a librarian utility for viewing and managing icon libraries of all types. It displays full-window viewing of every image format with all sizes and color depths. It can easily extract embedded icons to ICO files.
The animator creates and edits animated cursor files using the same toolset as studio.
